DEPARTMENT OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING

The Mechanical Engineering program at Bharat-Ratna Indira Gandhi College of Engineering provides a comprehensive foundation in the principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes. Students will acquire the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to design, analyze, and manufacture mechanical systems and components. The course includes both theoretical study and practical applications, preparing students for a wide range of careers in industries like automotive, aerospace, energy, robotics, and more.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education

    You must have completed your 10+2 education in the science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) from a recognized board. 

  • Percentage

    You must have scored a minimum percentage ranging from 50 percent to 75 percent. 

  • Entrance exams
    You must clear entrance exams such as JEE Main, state-level engineering entrance exams, or university-specific tests.
