On 25th Feb 2023, Bharat Ratna Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (BIGCE)
organized a Seminar on “Elements of Green Building” under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell
[IQAC] & Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at the Seminar Hall. Also got Green Audit,
Energy Audit & Environment Audit certificate. It was attended by prominent Principal,
Professors, staff members and Students of the college with great enthusiasm.
Before starting of the Seminar, the event began with a brief introduction on Green
Building and welcoming the chief guest Ar.Nahida Abdulla, Architect & Green Building
Consultant by Dr.Altaf Mudhol, Professor & Dean of Student Welfare, BIGCE-Solapur.
Later our Honorable Principal & Director of BIGCE, Dr.B.J Patil addressed all the
present Staff & Students and gave introduction on Green Building. Later on the Session of
Seminar on Elements of Green Building was carried out by the Chief guest Ar.Nahida Abdulla,
Architect & Green Building Consultant.
After the completion of the Seminar, the function ended with a Vote of Thanks by
Prof.Rashmi.S.Yadiyapur-HOD of Civil Engineering Department Bigce-Solapur.
